TDV Industries is proud to announce that we have realized an advanced tool to calculate the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our fabrics – now officially certified by the prestigious EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) from Environdec.
This tool will allow us to measure the environmental impact of our fabrics.
🔍 What does this mean exactly?
The EPD certification validates the methodology and results of our product’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a rigorous methodology that evaluates the environmental impact of a product throughout all phases of its life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, usage, and disposal.
This provides a comprehensive and accurate overview of environmental impacts, and the production processes involved.
LCA allows for the measurement of parameters such as greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, water usage, and other environmental indicators, offering a scientific basis for improving efficiency and reducing the ecological footprint of products.
The Life Cycle Assesment study with the 3rd party verification ensures our customers transparency and clarity; by providing reliable insights into key environmental factors and we also make them informed for their eco-conscious decisions in their sustainability journey
By making the environmental footprint of our fabrics clearer and 3rd party verified, we’re not only increasing reliability and transparency but also working even harder to reducing the environmental impact of our fabrics and supporting our customers on their decarbonization path.
Through our collaboration with key partners, we are continuing to lead the way in sustainable textile innovation, striving to reduce the environmental impact of production and promote greater transparency in supply chains.
