Polycotton is a blend of polyester and cotton where polyester forms the majority. At TDV Industries, we have developed polycotton fabrics with 67% polyester and 33% cotton that offer many advantages.
The advantages of polycotton
Polycotton is abrasion-resistant, quick drying and wrinkle-resistant. Garments with polycotton content also keep their colours bright and can be washed at high temperatures. Polycotton is more water- and oil-repellent than pure cotton, and it has insulating properties, so you can stay warm in winter and cool in summer.
For what purpose?
We recommend using polycotton garments in instances where strength and durability are paramount, especially against friction. That’s why polycotton is ideal for tradespeople such as woodworkers, carpenters, masons, cabinetmakers, landscapers, couriers and mechanics.
How to choose the right polycotton fabric
It is important to choose the fabric according to its weight, the tools used, the weather conditions and your habits. At TDV Industries, our range of polycotton fabrics is available in a wide variety of weights from 150 to 300 g/m² and in different weaves: canvas, twill, satin, panama and ripstop. We also offer a wide range of colours, printed or woven stripes and special finishes, as well as print combinations and denim solutions. Depending on your needs, we can also create fabrics with pre-dyed yarns in different design and colour combinations.
Testing to find the perfect material
