I was a pork butcher and caterer for 5 years before joining TDV Industries, and that was 14 years ago, now. I started out temping as an assistant sizer before becoming a sizer. My work consists of “sizing ” the warp threads in order to make them stand up to the mechanical strains of weaving. What I like about my work is having responsibility and being to improve on things as they are. I have to admit that it’s a nice post to work at, not as noisy as some of the others.
