TDV careers : Dying workshop manager

Christophe, dying workshop manager.

After studying chemistry I came to TDV Industries as a dyeing laboratory technician; I then moved up to dyeing supervisor, then manager of CVE (Control, Inspection & Dispatch), then I became dyeing production supervisor – and finally, dyeing manager. I had my first job at TDV Industries and working here has allowed me to continue to live in my hometown, which is nearby, and continue with my handball career.

My function as manager of the dyeing workshop is to manage a group of 40 members of staff and ensure we always give the customer the best possible service, to be responsible for every individual’s safety, guarantee the quality of the products and be responsible for continuous improvement while ensuring the wellbeing of the staff.

What I like about my work is the human relations side with the teams, the pride that comes of making things take shape, and finding process solutions to enable us to manufacture complex articles.
