Audrey, sales assistant.
Before moving to the Mayenne, I was a sales assistant at an estate agent’s then an assistant in an engineering design department in the automotive sector near Lyon. I had my first opportunity at TDV Industries when I replaced someone on maternity leave.
I have now been assisting the Sales Director on the France part of the operation for several years. My role consists of providing new customers with information when their queries arrive by email or if they contact us after trade fairs, for example. Once a requirement has been defined, I set up the price quotation and send out samples and technical documentation. In parallel with this, I take care of the transport orders and part of the billing.
What I like about the course of my day is helping customers with our procedures and providing them with information. I find that my work is very varied and I like being in contact with the product. When I arrived at TDV Industries, I discovered a new world I knew nothing of, as I’d known nothing about textiles; I’d never imagined that there could be so many and such technical production steps.
