Fabien, spinning supervisor.
Before coming to TDV Industries 20 years ago, now, I was a bicycle and motorcycle mechanic. But the irregular hours often involving weekends made me decide to change tack. I originally came to TDV Industries through a temping job, but then I was able to move around; from the singeing machine I went on to yarn dyeing, from there to the Autocross, then to preparation… from being a mechanic I also managed to move up into a supervisor post. My job is to monitor the processes of yarn production and schedule changes of materials.
What I like is that as a mechanic I come across a lot of different people throughout the course of the day, right up to HR, who are very often in the field. No two maintenance procedures are alike and the fact of working with several teams makes for great diversity when it comes to interaction with other colleagues.
