Before coming to TDV Industries I was a contractor quality assurance manager in an SMB that made bed linen. I applied for the post that opened up at chez TDV Industries because it fitted my profile and lifestyle. Today I’m responsible for final verification and my job consists in ensuring the product we are about to deliver matches the specification document and, most importantly, the customer’s requirements; this means being proactive with regard to quality drift in our production workshops and supervising the visual inspection and physical verification teams.
There are a lot of things that I like about my work. Firstly, the human values and CSR commitment that are so evident at TDV Industries. Then there’s the fact of manufacturing a product, something solid, which gives a feeling of pride and a sense of belonging. The degree of self-sufficiency I enjoy and the trust placed in me motivate me to work and always go that bit further. Being at the end of the chain gives me the full picture and makes me close to the customer. The tasks entrusted to me are very varied (quality, development, production, transversal projects…). Managing teams is also very enriching, and there are endless opportunities for improvement!
